Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Pawprint Network LLC ("Pawprint Network," "we," "us") collects through The Catwalk (instameow.app) and The Dog Park (instawoof.app) (together, the "Apps"), and how that information is used.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. In practice, information falls into three categories:

Account information. Signing in to the Apps is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your email address, name, profile photo, and information from a third-party sign-in provider (such as Google, Apple, or Facebook) if you choose to use one.
AI feature inputs. The Apps include optional AI-powered features (such as caption generation, a "translator," and photo analysis) built on Google's Gemini API. If you use these features, the text or photo you submit is sent to Google for processing in order to return a result to you. We don't retain a separate copy of that content on our own servers.
Content you create in the app. Profiles, posts, stories, and similar content you create are stored locally in your browser (using local storage), on your own device. This content is not stored in a Pawprint Network database, and it will not appear if you switch browsers or devices, or if you clear your browser's site data.

In short: the only information that reaches Pawprint Network's own infrastructure is what's needed to sign you in. Everything you post inside the app lives in your browser, and anything you send to an AI feature is processed by Google, not stored by us.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run the Apps, and your information may be processed by them under their own privacy policies:

Clerk (authentication) — clerk.com/legal/privacy
Google Gemini API (AI features) — policies.google.com/privacy
Render (hosting) — render.com/privacy

Data retention

Account information is retained by Clerk for as long as your account exists. Content stored in your browser's local storage stays there until you clear it, uninstall/reset your browser, or use a different browser or device. We do not currently maintain a separate backend database of your app content.

Children's privacy

The Apps are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate steps to address it.

Your choices

You can sign out or delete your account through Clerk's account controls within the app. You can clear your locally stored app content at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the relevant domain.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
