Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Catwalk (instameow.app) and The Dog Park (instawoof.app) (together, the "Apps"), operated by Pawprint Network LLC ("Pawprint Network," "we," "us"). By using either App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Apps are

The Apps are social platforms for sharing pet-related content, playing with AI-generated captions and translations, and browsing content from other users, offered primarily for entertainment purposes.

2. Accounts

Certain features require signing in through our authentication provider, Clerk. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity that happens under it.

3. Your content

Content you create in the Apps (profiles, posts, stories, and similar) is stored locally in your browser and is not stored on our servers. You're responsible for the content you submit, including anything you provide to the Apps' AI features, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

4. AI-generated content

Some features generate captions, translations, or descriptions using Google's Gemini API. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and may be inaccurate, nonsensical, or unsuitable for your purposes. Don't rely on it as factual or professional advice of any kind.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Apps to:

• Post unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Apps or their underlying systems
• Use the Apps in a way that violates any applicable law

6. Third-party services

The Apps rely on third-party services, including Clerk (authentication), Google's Gemini API (AI features), and Render (hosting). Your use of features built on those services is also subject to those providers' own terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular content (including AI-generated content) will be accurate or reliable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pawprint Network LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Apps.

9. Changes to the Apps or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Apps, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
